A time someone told a lie

I was in a group of about 4 or 5 people. We were all talking about football and what positions we played. This one guy, which I did not know, said that he started every game as either a running back or line backer. I knew he was lying because he did not even have the size nor the look of being athletic. He was a little bit of a chunky guy and every time he said "yea I know bro, I started and played that position like a thousand times already." I was honestly just laughing at him because I knew that we football players do not repeat every time we bring our position that we did that a thousand times. And he also was annoying. The whole group just ignored him the rest of the time.
